Saturn, the "Lord of Karma" and ruler of Capricorn has turned retrograde (intensifying the energy of aspects to its position) and is trine to Pluto (Lord of the Underworld). Pluto moved into Capricorn from its long foray through Sagitarius, but turned retrograde also on April 1. I've considered Pluto to be the "rotorooter" of the zodiac.....urging us to delve deeply into the subconscious to discover any hidden blocks or area of self loathing so issues can be brought to the light of conscious awareness and healed. With the two heavyweights of the zodiac in this flowing energy position, we are in a prime position to look at patterns from prior lives in order to understand and heal.

Mercury, the winged messenger of the Gods enters Taurus (ruled by Venus, the Goddess of love) on April 17th while the Sun joins her in Taurus on April 19th. Mercury was the God sent from the heavens to persuade Pluto to let Persephone return to the upperworld, thus restoring life to earth. It was Mercury's powers of perception and analysis that aided Persphone in processing the material garnered in her journey through the Underworld (compare to our subconscious or shadow). On April 25th the Moon will join Pluto in Capricorn and will activate the Pluto/Saturn trine. The Moon is the feminine intuitive side of our nature.....that which we have experienced in all of our lifetimes, the melting pot of all of our lifetimes emotions and experiences.
